AROMATIC The aromatic compounds are mainly sage, rosemary, thyme , lavender, usually accompanied by citrus notes and spice. The manly character of these compositions makes this family a major asset in men’s fragrances .
WOODY Woody fragrances are the heart take a hot or opulent character when sandalwood or patchouli dominate. Cedar and vetiver make them more dry. These maleagreements both hot, dry and elegant, are often accompanied by a touch of fresh citrus and aromatic notes.
CHYPRE The success of “Chypre” by Coty in 1917 gave birth to the classic chypre fragrance family. These compositions are based on oakmoss agreements, cistus-labdanum,patchouli and bergamot. The rich chypre adapts well to fruity or floral. This family includes the scents of nature, easily recognizable.
CITRUS All the perfumes of this family consist mainly of citrus fruits such as bergamot, lemon, orange, tangerine and grapefruit, which products of the orange (orange blossom, petitgrain, neroli) are associated. There are sometimesfloral or also chypre agreements. These fragrances are characterized by their freshness andlightness. It is the first “Eau de Cologne”.
ORIENTAL Oriental fragrances, sometimes called “amber“ are distinguished by their blend of warmth and sensuality. They derive their wealth of materials such as musk, vanilla and precious woods and are often accompanied with exotic flowers and spices.
FLORAL Characterized by its natural scent of flower or bouquet, the floral note is one of the most important composition in women’s fragrances.
